The operator of an industrial site where explosive atmospheres can be produced (ATEX) is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of their ATEX equipment, including the design, construction and / or maintenance of electrical installations. These different aspects related to the ATEX facilities must be considered very seriously. The installation designer, the installer and all the parties involved must have a good knowledge of the regulations for the installation of equipment used in explosive atmospheres to guarantee safety.
The Ism-ATEX certification (Installation, Service and Maintenance of electrical installations to ATEX) guarantees the competence of the different parties to which it subcontracts the tasks of design, construction and / or maintenance of electrical installations in explosive atmospheres.
INERIS notified body.
INERIS is a notified organization for the ATEX directives governing European regulations on the protection of persons and property in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
INERIS has developed Ism-ATEX, Saqr-ATEX voluntary certification references in the respective fields of design, manufacture, maintenance or repair of these ATEX equipment.
It is for this reason that our operators are certified in Ism-Atex L1E and all our technicians are Ism-Atex L2 E certified. This allows us to offer our customers the maximum comptetència and advice in installations with atmospheres with risk of explosion.
We carry out inspection and maintenance plans for Atex electrical installations according to the requirements of Standard UNE-EN-60079-17. What is IR Thermography?

Thermography can be used in any circumstance where the identification of thermal patterns can be used to find something (such as a missing person) or diagnose a condition (such as a poor electrical connection). What is infrared?
Infrared energy is part of the electromagnetic spectrum and behaves similarly to visible light. It travels through space at the speed of light and can be reflected, refracted, absorbed, and emitted. The wavelength of IR energy is about an order of magnitude longer than visible light, between 0.7 and 1000 µm (millionths of a meter).
